When I first joined Twitter in 2011 I loved it.
Whenever I opened the App I knew there would be something interesting or funny to read. With the years Twitter changed. More people, more Tweets, more insults, more screams. The interesting, buried under stacks of yelling and fighting. I left Twitter in 2016.
And it‘s not just Twitter that changed. The web itself became bigger. More articles, more images, more videos. Most of it placeholders. Stuff that's just there to fill the gaps.
But in all this chaos there are still interesting things to read. They didn‘t vanish.
Curious Rat started in 2015 as my own reading list. Containing mostly articles I found on Twitter. It became my personal go to place whenever I had time to read something.
I thought maybe other people might like it too. Having a simple list of articles you can consult while waiting for the train, making a flight less boring, or as your before-going-to-bed-read.
So I took the list, styled it up a bit and pushed it to the World Wide Web.
Hope you enjoy.
Have a nice day.
